Saint Joseph Catholic Church
Saint Joseph, Michigan
Knights of Columbus
Council 13942
St. Joseph the Provider
Founded 2006
Fr. Michael McGivney founded the first Knights of Columbus council at
his parish, St. Mary's, in New Haven, CT in 1882.  The Order is an engine
of family spirituality that "makes Catholics better Catholics".  This
exercise of charity and faith is evidenced by council service in the parish,
community, family and youth programs.
Founded on charity, and empowered by unity, fraternity and patriotism,
the Order is 'in solidarity with our priests' to spread our Catholic faith,
increase religious vocations, increase morality in the media and support
pro-life issues.  In the K of C you can grow and live your faith.  All of the
bishops in Michigan are members as are the priests and deacon of St.
Joseph Parish and over 100 other men of the parish.  Why not you?
