Sacraments and Religious Education
  • The Sacraments
The Office of Sacramental Preparation welcomes
those who are seeking to receive the Sacraments of
Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
Classes are held for new parents, children, youth and
adults in basic doctrinal teaching concerning each of
the Sacraments. Candidates are given an introduction
to the spiritual life and the continuing formation of a
strong Catholic faith.

Baptisms: Baptisms are celebrated on the 2nd & 4th
Sunday of the month after the 12:30 Mass. Please

anley at the Office of Catechesis and
Initiation (983-1575 X10) to register.

Marriages:  Please contact the Rectory at least six
months before the marriage date.
Becoming a Catholic:  All who desire to enter the Catholic Church are
warmly welcomed to do so.  RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
classes teaching all aspects of our faith run from September until Easter, at
which point the candidates and catechumens enter the Church at the joyful
celebration of the Easter Vigil Mass.  Call Peggy H

  • Religious Education
A wide variety of Religious education opportunities exist in our parish.  Along
with our wonderful Lake Michigan Catholic Schools (check out their website at
http://www.lmclakers.com/ ), many other courses of study are available for both
young and old.


Confraternity of Catholic Doctrine (CCD):  Catholic education for children
from Junior Kindergarten through eighth grade.  CCD helps children understand
their Catholic Faith so as to live it out in the world.
